This year we will be joining the Expopharm again. We will offer you a look behind the scenes of our research lab and show you what to expect from us in the future. Share with us your thoughts about the future and find out what we can do for you.
Today at the APP in Brisbane, Australia, the VBM will be shown for the first time to the public. Blister cards are an easy and cost-efficient way to deliver medicine per intake time but until now there has been no efficient and safe means of filling and checking the contents of a blister card. We have developed a revolutionary new machine which can check the contents of blister cards using our unique, proven patented technology developed to check medicine pouches. The VBM automatically fills the blister cards and ensures the medicines in the blisters are correct.
The VBM holds 200 cartridges of tablets, giving instant access to all 200 individual medications. When a cartridge becomes empty, a red LED clearly indicates that the cartridge needs to be refilled. Cartridges may be refilled and card trays exchanged during operation.
The VBM uses the same verification technology that Global Factories developed for the Medicine Detection Machine. This ensures that the medication packed into the blister card is correct. By capturing images and storing data about the packaging process, all important data relating to the whole process can be reviewed and reported.
The VBM supports different sizes of blister card trays. By using the Multifunctional Dispense Array (MDA) tray it is possible to add medicines to the blister card that are not in the cartridges. The cavities of the tray can be combined for larger products, making it possible to pack almost everything.
